With #AllEyezOnMe premiering in exactly one week (Pac’s birthday to be exact), why not pay early homage to the late rapper himself. Growing up, 2pac was someone I looked up to not only in terms of his conscious-cool style, but his versatility as an artist. He was a rapper, poet, actor, and lyricist, pretty much the ultimate Renaissance man. He was not afraid to be vulnerable when all eyez were on him. With the media constantly crucifying him, he used two of his most powerful weapons: his mind and his voice. He showed no signs of fear for he would openly talk about his death in both his music and his interviews. I remember staying up last night watching interviews featuring the late rapper and what stuck out was his ability to talk with great passion. His eyes would light up and when he entered a room, his energy was so contagious. I really don’t know how I’m gonna feel watching the film but I guarantee that I will be listening to Me Against The World, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z and All Eyez On Me all day (top 3 albums). Remind me to bring a rose as well as a box of tissue when I go see the movie cause you know this girl bout to get in her feelings. Shoutout to Stance Socks for paying homage to a hip-hop legend!
