Style Trends

So… the last week was actually a good one! It seems that the universe has been testing my patience prior to last week. I have this feeling that something is going to happen in my life and I need to do my best to prepare for it. With each day that passes, I am becoming more aware of my surroundings and taking time to really see the the beauty in the world that we live in. And once we maintain that awareness, good things are sure to come out of it. I don’t want to jinx this thought of mine so I’m just gonna talk about this look! Lately I’ve been glued to a fellow Instagrammers feed. Her name is Jnel, better known as @jnelv. I followed her on the gram about a year and a half ago and have watched her grow in terms of her style, content, and collaborations. Her looks are very modern mixed with streetwear and she is no stranger when it comes to posing and capturing outfit deets. She featured a look on her Insta where she wore blush colored culottes with buttoned details on the side. Underneath she had on a fresh pair of hi-top Vans kicks. I became enamoured by this look and wanted to add my own flavor to it. I came across this maroon bomber jacket with brocade detailing in my closet. This thing hasn’t seen the light of day so I thought “why not?” It coincidentally matched with a pair of Nikelab Air Force Ones also in the maroon colorway. It was fate I tell you! I kept it minimal with a black crop top while a gold body chain shines underneath. The color scheme is simple and isn’t too loud! Hope you guys are feelin it! =) Let me know in the comment box below!
