Being a lover of streetwear, I always keep my ear to what’s going on in the world of streetwear fashion and to be honest, I love the direction that it’s going in. It’s always dope to see street brands like Supreme, Palace, and Gosha Rubchinskiy team up with athletic powerhouses like Nike, Adidas and Reebok to bring some well deserved heat to the streets. Now after months of questioning whether or not Japanese streetwear brand BAPE ( A Bathing Ape) would drop their anticipated collaboration with athletic powerhouse Adidas after a photo of a pair of Adidas NMD’s with the Bape camoflauge colorway surfaced the internet. I remember being in high school and seeing all the freshest bape hoodies in the different camoflauge color ways zipped up to the top showing a monster face. And when I look back on it now, it was Bape that got me into loving streetwear but at that time, my sad self couldn’t afford it.I remember checking sites like High Snobiety, HYPEBEAST, Adidas, and social media in search for an answer in terms of a release date but to my dismay, I had given up hope. Well it wasn’t until I saw the news on Twitter that the collab was not only still happening, but it came with a release date of November 26th. With the collection comes the infamous Adidas NMD’s in camo green and tonal black colorways. You can also expect to see the same colorways in the form of tracksuits while an ID96 jacket is decked out in a classic Bape green camouflage design while the infamous shark face is shown on the front of the hood. Will you be coppin any gear from this notorious collab? It doesn’t hurt to give it a try! Heck I just might!
Be sure to mark your calendars on November 26th!
