Personal Style

Hey ya’ll!! So yesterday marked my twenty-something birthday and to be honest, I wasn’t in the most celebratory mood until I noticed the outpouring of love from family, friends as well as my co-workers. I swear ya’ll know how to make a girl feel special and I love you for taking the time out of your day to say the two words that may not mean a lot, but means the most to the person receiving it. Anyways before I get all sappy, I can honestly say that I was dreading this day for it means more responsibilities and even more realizations. I swear this is my Kylie Jenner year because I’ve just been, you know, realizing things.   From long term goals, academics, thinking big in terms of blog content and what I am really trying to sell with this creative platform. Don’t get me wrong, it’s okay to have goals and dreams to pursue, don’t let them stop you from enjoying yourself. Get to know yourself in the most fun way possible and I’ve realized that sometimes I don’t have as much fun as I used to and want to experience new vibes. Time to start acting on these ideas and to really just live in the moment! Oh, and I also realized that life is also too short to be wearing boring clothes. Do I really want to live the rest of my life in a white tee and jeans? Unless my name is Mark Zuckerberg, pass over the Adidas shorts with the Asagao print, a peach top and a pair of rose gold heels and I’ll show you how to live your life fashionably! Hope this post helps you realize to stop worrying and to start living! Never thought in a million years that a nineteen year-old would help make sense of my existence. Thanks Kylie, sorta.

  1. You are just so bomb I am obsessed! I love that you brought back these lotus print Adidas, and the way you styled it was perfect. I love reading your blog because you have so much personality in your writing. One thing I do want to touch on is that you are born to be a star. Just make sure you bring those ideas and dreams to life, because you have to create opportunities for yourself, so go out and do whatever it is you want to do. You have soo much potential. I cant wait to see where this year takes you, and cheers to turning twenty…something 😉

    • First of all, thank you for always showing love on each of my posts for your words mean oh so well! Girl, they had to be brought out a second time and I really wanted to aim for a street-chic vibe. Thank you so much and your words are a reminder to never give up on what I want and to never limit my potential. Thank you for the bday wishes as well. Can’t wait to see your next post!
