I would like to start off this post by giving a shout out to three dope ass people: 1.) Leandra Medine, founder of the blog Man Repeller for making it look cool to wear a white tee under a black tank 2.) Melissa from Muse x Malu where she recreated the look with a lace dress and still managed to snatch reader’s lives and 3.) Cher Horowictz from the 90’s classic movie Clueless. If you peeped the video, you would’ve been exposed to the scene where Cher looks effortlessly chic in a black tank top over a white tee while Ms. Stoger remains unimpressed by her theory as to why physical education is a disgrace. You can thank the 90’s for recreating these two pieces for they seem to successfully make their way back to the modern era. Celebrities such as Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Olivia Palermo, and music festival attendees have been spotted rocking this trend whether with heels, dresses and knee-high boots. I went badass this time with a sleek choker while a pair of black cut-out boots stood me up. As you can recall from my last outfit post, I colored the mane black for I was going through a drastic phase where it put me in a position to re-evaluate certain things in my life in terms of friendships, goals, and overall content. Hopefully it all works out! Have a great day wherever you are and don’t forget to make art & style on! Maybe this is an indication for me to re-create my style, and the life for that matter.
