Lately I’ve been riding the wave of spontaneity and to be quite honest with you, I am enjoying every minute of it. I feel liberated to do the things that make me happy whether its taking a road trip, getting inked, meeting new people and doing the unexpected with friends. I’ve always been used to being the planner amongst my friends and 100% of the time, the plan seems to go right instead of left or vice versa. Lately I’ve learned to let go of my expectations and to just go with the flow and honestly, it has made life more meaningful. It’s even altered my style choices for I lean towards more pieces that make me feel more liberated as portrayed in the photos above. I tried the off-shoulder top in relation to a trend post that I did month ago, or two (click here to view the post)

Spontaneity is sometimes hard for some to grasp and the reason could reside in a four letter word: fear. I used to think that having control of my surroundings will make me feel at ease when really, it just makes me paranoid as shit and it’s not a feeling that I want to live with for the rest of my life. We have to understand that we were provided with one life and the purpose is to make every moment count. Do what makes you happy and shy away from doing things to get approval from your peers. What I am trying to say is: stop giving a f***! We spend so much of our time trying to keep from dying to the point where we lose the feeling of what it means to live.  Tell someone how you feel, do something that you would never see yourself doing. A day not learning about yourself is a day wasted. And for the most part: Style Your Lives!

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like. ”

  2. You talk about my blog when I am obsessed with yours..and you! I love everything about this look and how simple yet so cute it is! You are definitely giving me some free spirits vibes in the best way possible right now and I love the combination of your palazzo pants with your crop top. I have a pair from Zara too and I love them. They are so comfortable and fun to style. Also you are killing it in that body chain and I love that you added that cute head band. Definitely boho chic! Love your style 🙂

Been so uninspired as of yet and girl, you gave me that push! Thank you for your kind words for you have no idea how much that means. What color are your palazzos?
