Personal Style

So — this past week I made the decision to sit in front of the telly (technically laptop) and indulge in a TV show. Can’t seem to recall the last time I actually sat down and binged watched a TV series while diving head-first into a bowl of Ben & Jerry’s. The show of choice was none other than Empire and let me tell you, every episode had me like WOW (Future voice)! I’ve come to the conclusion that Cookie Lyon could possibly be my long lost sister due to the fact that we are both sassy and enjoy ganging up on Lucious Lyon through insults or by throwing an expensive shoe at him. Cookie has single-handedly crowned herself the lyoness in the fashion deptartment for her garments speak louder than her. From gold jewelry, to animal print, to that red Moschino Resort number she wore in Season 2, girl better work! To make her proud, I whipped out a sleek pair of tall leather boots with gold metal detailing on the heel during a trip to the Alberta Art Gallery. The buttons are by Pyramid Scheme, a street wear brand based out of Toronto. The Halfway Crooks is easily my favourite due to the fact that it’s a lyric from one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time and it just so happens to be Boris Badenov from Rocky & Bullwinkle, mwahaha!

Still trying to grasp what happened during the season 2 finale of Empire. Can you believe the nerve of…. no, not on here Camille.

Did you guys catch it? Let me know your thoughts below!
