It is offically July! It’s crazy how time flies, I swear when you live a busy life, everything happens almost too fast! As many of you know, I am not one who plasters her face with makeup. From wearing excessive face powder to caking on eye shadow to go to the grocery store is not in my makeup pool (I’ve seen it , trust me). However, when the opportunity arises for a night on the town or a date (like that will ever happen), I like to put my best face forward but in a minimal tone. But anyways, here’s the scoop!
.)During a trip to Sephora, I picked up the Givenchy Gloss Inderit in the #11 Succelent Orange. It offers a glossy finish and it gives your lips the extra plump it needs (no offence, Kylie). I must warn you that with this lip gloss, comes a hefty price tag. Click here to view the Givenchy Gelee D’Inderdit Gloss online at Sephora.
.)To define the shape of the lips, I reach for the Annabelle lip liner in the 405 shade just to give that extra volume. Oh and ladies, please keep the overdrawing to a minimum.
.)For ultimate face ultimate coverage without any oily messes, I reach for my Vichy Normaderm Teint Foundation in the #45 Gold Dust. It gives full coverage to any skin type and it doesn’t sweat. What more could a chick ask for?
.)So De La Renta by Oscar de la Renta possesses a touch of vanilla extracts, fruits & exotic woods, al tracing back to the 1997 era. I kid you not, I could bathe in this scent.
.) Who doesn’t love Bad Gal Riri aka Rihanna? Remember when the songstress announced her collab with MAC Cosmetics back in 2013? To this day, I still use her “Cockiness” liquid rose gold eyeliner for it gives off the perfect copper finish. It has a tendency to stick after removal, but c’mon… it’s Riri!
.) For that special night out (once in a blue moon), I reach for the 4 Step Smokey Eye Palette by The Body Shop. If you’re an amateur like me and you find yourself relying on Youtube when it comes to blending, well, you’re in luck because with this palette, the steps are on the back (horrible, I know) along with 2 synthetic brushes. Note: to reduce bacteria in your make-up brushes, use a brush cleaner spray. I recommend the Master Cleanse by Sephora.
