I swear when you dye your hair black, you go through a phase where you find yourself drooling over Alexander Wang garments and trying to come up with ways to incorporate minimalism into your everyday life. During my years as a blogger, I never wrapped my head around the whole “minimalist” thing. For the longest time, I couldn’t answer this question, but as I got older and developed a conscious of quality over quantity, the saying “less is more” kept repeating itself in my head. Being minimal is about creating simplicity in style in terms of artwork, design, literature and fashion. One can achieve this by using the fewest and barest everyday essentials in maximum form. To challenge my inner minimalist, I try to wear less colour and if i do, I wear it in a subtle way. In this particular case, I brought out the Gael tank from Workhall Studio and worked my way around by pairing it with simple pieces. Thanks to a black bomber jacket, minimal jewelry and a classic Adidas sneaker, the minimalist look was conquered, sort of?
