Who doesn’t love road trips? The family and I took a road trip up the coast of Honaunau Bay, south of Kona. The drive there takes over an hour but the things you see while driving can be quite overwhelming. It felt like Europe all over again. You drive up a hill surrounded by colorful houses surrounding a small village with surfboard shops. My dad was driving fast, so it was difficult to get a clear shot. We took a pit stop to a view that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It was breathtaking! You can walk along the rocks and take pictures. We then proceeded to go to Honaunau Bay, a site of refuge for ancient Hawaiian lawbreakers. Check out the photos below!
